Icons form the foundation of vicoMap's customizable nature. They're placed in a dashboard along the bottom of the interface as well as on the map itself.
Using the icon browser, you can utlize the stock sets or upload your own icons. From here, to place icons on your map, all you need to do is drag and drop. Icon positions can be adjusted at any time or removed with easy to use right click menus.
Dashboard icons can be told to execute different behaviors, depending on what you want it to do. The most simple behavior just shows a layer of icons that you've dragged to the map.
You can also show multimedia items and if the alpine trail plugin is on, you can show drawn in trails, lifts, parks, etc. Behaviors can even take in to account live data such as only showing the lifts that are open or trails that are groomed.
As you can see from the right cilck menu above, dashboard icons can also be set to be open or closed when the map first opens and have a description popup added when rolled over.
