All the up to the minute information a ski resort needs to show can be viewed from within the Trail Map graphically. Web cams, snow report, five day forecast, lift and trail status, grooming and snowmaking status. These can all be accessed by a feed that you provide or can be directly controlled in the Trail Map using our unique visual administration system.

360° Panoramas and Video
The stunning panorama system combined with MVP Video within the Trail Map make an outstanding multimedia partnership that allows you to show off areas of your ski resort with some amazing visuals. Panorama and video icons are placed in the location on the map that they were shot to give the user a virtual tour of the mountain under their control. Giving users the control to be "virtually there" is an extremely powerful marketing tool for both new and regular customers.

Optimized network delivery with unlimited bandwidth
Using modern web technologies and a whole lot of "kiwi ingenuity", we've created a custom network system that allows us to expand seamlessly and deliver huge amounts of data [see case studies] for a fraction of the cost of other video providers. Servers can be placed geographically where they're needed most and simply plug in, requiring no server downtime. In fact it's so streamlined, we're able to offer UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH usage and multiple server hosting out-of-the-box (When purchased alongside MVP Video on Demand) giving you network redundancy and the ability to stay within budget, all for a pre-set annual license fee.

Upload power and simplicity
Place videos on the Trail Map by simply pinpointing the location and choosing a file. The appropriate conversion/transcoding takes place on the server so there's no need to install any programs on your computer, you can upload from anywhere and you don't have to deal with any confusing video encoding options.

Users can also upload to the Trail Map and you moderate any content before it goes live.

If available, all videos are also accessible in your MVP Video on Demand system.


Visual administration
Our unique admin system is amazingly simple. Instead of having an external console, admin options are all integrated in to the product itself allowing you to see changes as they happen and visually navigate to items you want to change. It's a deceptively powerful system that allows far more admin options in a compact, simple, visual interface.

Advertising management
By utilizing the first few seconds a video or panorama is loading to show a small message, you can display non-intrusive advertising that keeps the user entertained while there is an initial loading period. The Trail Map advertising manager allows you to upload images and Flash animations as pre and post-roll advertisements. You can attach a hyperlink, view click-thrus and impressions and set which ads play where, allowing you to run different ad campaigns for different videos and panoramas.
